That'll be the Avus silver bodywork 99% mint. Best part is, £160 - that includes the wing, door handle, arch spats AND off side rear bumper corner (have a few very small scuffs very close to where the arch spat was knocked off) and also the interior rear brace bar in body colour. He explained his methods and he pretty much said the same as some of the bigger body shops, he said he didn't need to blend the bumper. Detach 2 front wheels Unscrew 8x bolts 8. He's young, eager and has more to prove - just obviously not wealthy enough to set up big time yet. Detach earth cable from earth terminal Unscrew bolt 3. However, I've been to see a local young chap who is into his VW's, he's been spraying for a few years now and he shares a large unit in a (nice) industrial estate in Dronfield. It was the most expensive quote but for the sake of £50 I'd rather go here as I felt comfortable with them, plus I don't think it's an OTT price really. ![]() ![]() He said he'll spray the front section of the wing, blend the wing towards the rear but he'd have to blend into the front bumper. ![]() £300 all in including spraying my door handle and my new rear arch spats (someone knocked the offside one off) whilst the car is in. In this category I've narrowed it down to one place simply called 'the bodyshop' it has some good reviews and the chap seemed genuinely interested and sincere. Been going around getting quotes and £200-£300 seems the going rate at the more established body shops.
